Cookies Policy
Effective
This policy explains the current use of cookies and browser storage on the Rubrica website, and the information needed to deliver and protect it.
1. Who operates the website
Rubrica is a product under RCFI, based in Nairobi, Kenya. The product is in development. For questions about this policy, email [email protected]. RCFI’s website is rcfi.co.ke.
2. What cookies and browser storage do
Cookies are small pieces of information a website can store in your browser and receive on later requests. Other browser storage can keep information on your device, either for a browsing session or across visits. These tools can support preferences, analytics or advertising, depending on how a website uses them.
3. What this website currently uses
The current Rubrica website does not set cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. It does not use analytics or advertising tracking tools, or persistent local storage. It does not save a persistent motion preference.
Temporary browser session storage may remember navigation and scroll position during a browsing session. It supports page navigation and does not store a persistent preference.
The current website does not use cookies to remember preferences or operate the waitlist. Because it does not currently use optional cookies, there is no optional-cookie consent banner to manage.
4. Necessary requests and security
Visiting the website sends requests to our hosting and security providers. They process request information, including IP addresses and information about the request, to deliver pages, maintain availability and help prevent abuse. This processing is separate from storing cookies or preferences in your browser.
Joining the waitlist sends the information you submit so your registration can be saved privately. It does not create a tracking cookie or public registration. Our Privacy Policy explains the information collected, its purposes, retention, processing outside Kenya and your rights.
5. Your browser controls
Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies and clear other stored website data in their privacy settings. Those controls may affect features on websites that rely on browser storage. External websites linked from Rubrica may use their own cookies and controls.
Clearing browser data does not delete a waitlist registration held by us or withdraw your update consent. To request deletion or stop receiving updates, email [email protected].
6. Changes and contact
We will update this policy if our use of cookies or browser storage changes. If we introduce optional cookies that require consent, we will provide information and a choice before using them. The effective date on this page identifies the current policy.
For questions about cookies, browser storage or your information, email [email protected].
